Documentary photographer, Chiara was born in Italy where studied languages then graduated in communication sciences with a thesis on the German Ostalgie. She worked at the archive of the agency VU in Paris and attended the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin. Interested in European issues, how borders and collective memories influence identities, she mostly approaches her subjects with empathy and a regard for intimacy.
